On the site of an earlier railway workshop SNCF develops the foundation LUMA of Maja Hoffmann in collaboration with Gehry Partners LLP a "Centre international de la photographie et de l'image" having in program exhibition, conservation and production, replenished with artist appartments and guest studios. The national photo school and the edition Actes Sud will come on site, also the "Rencontres internationales de la photographie"
